As with any piece of jewellery the setting is as important as the stone itself. Here the natural features of the countryside are being conserved and enhanced with further new green spaces.
Tree lined avenues are being created and the castle grounds restored. Within Waterstone Park, children’s play areas have been given particular consideration and networks of footpaths and cycleways are being laid down throughout the less formal areas in which thousands of trees and shrubs have been planted to create a new woodland habitat.
