Fastrack
Fastrack is the name given to an innovative transit system being development for Kent Thameside. Fastrack will have the appeal of a modern tram system but use rubber-tyred vehicles that allow the flexibility to adjust routes as new development takes place operating high frequency services with priority over general traffic.
Fastrack services commenced early 2006 between Dartford and Gravesend town centres via Bluewater and Greenhithe Station and will also serve Dartford Park, the new Channel Tunnel Rail Link station at Ebbsfleet when it opens (expected 2007) and Eastern Quarry.
